Sharetops is designed to be a socially aware web application and as part of its social awareness it allows the sharing of information between users. As soon as you publish your Sharetop to Sharetops.com, your Sharetop will become available for every other web user to visit and play around with. Other logged in Sharetop users that visit your Sharetop will have the option to borrow your links when they visit your site. When a user borrows a link from you it will appear on their Sharetop the same way it appears on yours.

In order to borrow another users Sharetop item you simply visit their Sharetop, hover over the link you would like to take then click the “Add to Desktop” button situated to the top left of the icon (see below)

When you return to your Sharetop, any links that you have borrowed will appear on your desktop
