Step 11 - Favourite Sharetops

The Favourites list is a great way to track Sharetops that you like or visit on a regular basis.

When you or another user publishes your Sharetops to the web they become available for all other web users to visit. When you visit other users Sharetops you will find an option in the Sharetops menu called “Add to favourites”. Selecting this option will add the Sharetop that you are currently visiting to your favourites list

Your favourites list is accessible via the “Favourites” option on the Sharetops main menu. Selecting this option will open up your favourite’s window, as shown below:

The favourite’s window lists all your favourite Sharetsops in a grid layout. The Sharetop owners user name, title, rating, last updated date and the date you added the favourite are all displayed side by side. Clicking the column headers will sort the list of favourites by the column you select. Note that if you hover over a favourite’s title, a long description of the Sharetop is displayed as a tooltip

To visit a favourite simply click the blue visit button next to the Sharetop users user name. To delete the favourite click the red cross.

You can also add Sharetops to your favourites directly by clicking the “Add favourite” button that is situated to the bottom left of the favourite’s window. Clicking the Add Favourite button will open a dialog where you can type the name of the user that owns the Sharetop

Note that the Sharetops web site supports a Sharetops browse and search feature that lets you either browse Sharetops by category or search by keywords.
